Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a visit to Siemens Gamesa’s offshore turbine factory in Cuxhaven, Germany, reiterated his government’s commitment to boost the county’s renewable power output to 80% by 2030 and expand wind energy to reach climate neutrality and energy independence.
Scholz praised the technological innovation associated with wind energy on show at the state-of-the-art factory on Germany’s North Sea coast.
