The Kincardine project off Scotland – set to be the world’s largest floating wind farm when it enters service – has missed its chance for a 2020 completion due to Covid-related delays, confirmed a project official.
Co-developer Allan MacAskill said the 50MW project was now “quite probably” heading for a 2021 finish at its site off Aberdeen as the window for deployment this year narrows.
