Corporate renewable procurement more than doubled in the Asia-Pacific region last year as companies took advantage of the declining cost of green power to meet decarbonisation goals, said Wood Mackenzie.
The research group estimated 3.8GW of renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs) were signed in 2020, more than twice the year earlier volume.
India, Australia and Taiwan are leading the way in a regional market that now totals 10.9GW
