Goldwind agreed to acquire the Rattlesnake Wind Project from developer RES Americas, which will construct the plant
The wind farm in McCulloch County, northwest of Austin, will use 64 of Goldwind’s 2.5MW direct drive turbines, and will become Goldwind’s largest US project on completion. No schedule is given for construction and financial terms were not disclosed.
The Rattlesnake Wind Project is the first stage of a planned 300MW development, said Goldwind.
