Giant Scottish offshore wind farm to be bought by Total to use 10MW MHI Vestas turbines

MHI Vestas will supply and install 114 of its V164-10MW turbines for the 1.1GW Seagreen offshore wind project in Scotland, of which French oil and gas major Total recently agreed to by a majority.

“We are very pleased to have secured the firm order for turbine supply at Seagreen, which is the largest project under development in Scotland,” said MHI Vestas chief sales officer Henrik Jensen when receiving a firm order for the project.
