Despite seeing sales rise 4.2% during the third quarter, Nordex’s operating profit fell to €21.9m ($33m), down from €37.3m in the same period last year.
The earnings decline squeezed Nordex’s margin to 2.7% from 4.8%. But the company says it remains comfortable with its performance given that it is expanding its global staff in anticipation of a rebound in turbine demand.
