Germany's Gicon postpones floating wind installation to 2017

German floating wind power technology pioneer Gicon has had to postpone installation of its 2.3MW prototype in the Baltic Sea later this year, after "procedural challenges" posed by the country's current legal framework triggered a loss of funding that scuppered the maiden deployment.
