Germany’s latest onshore wind auction was again heavily under-subscribed, with only 176MW allocated of 500MW on offer in September, the country’s federal grids agency (BNetzA) said.
As just 187MW of bids were handed in, too few projects were offered to be able to call it a real competition, the BNetzA said.
Consequently, the average of successful bids came in at €62/MWh ($68.40),
