GE wins huge wind turbine deal as Indian player places second bumper order

GE Renewable Energy has won an order to supply developer JSW Energy with 810MW in turbines for unnamed upcoming wind projects in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Supply of GE’s 2.7-132 model machines from local production at GE’s site in Pune, India, will start by the second quarter of 2022 and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2023.
