GE Renewable Energy in 2019 grabbed 45% of the intensely competitive US new wind turbine market, its best showing in five years, as the OEM’s 2.5MW turbine platform and derivatives were the most popular among onshore project developers, according to the latest American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) figures.
