Sweden's Vasa Vind has opted to switch turbine supplier for the final phase of a 400MW wind power development in the north of the Nordic country, awarding US OEM GE the order to supply a batch of its 5.5MW Cypress turbines for the 60MW Raftsjöhöjden project.
The developer had used Denmark’s Vestas on the two previous phases in the cluster.
