GE cautious on offshore factory plans as RE division takes a bow

GE would need a solid pipeline in place before building a full-scale offshore turbine factory in the US or elsewhere beyond Europe, the US group told Recharge, as it confirmed it is integrating offshore wind as a operating unit following its €9.7bn ($10.3bn) acquisition of Alstom's energy assets.
