In what could be the last set of annual figures from the company in its current form, Gamesa said net profit rose 85% to €170m ($188m) as sales grew 23% to €3.5bn.
The company booked 3.88GW of orders last year, a 17% growth and a figure it said was "in line with the high end of the Business Plan target range for 2017".
