The world’s largest cable manufacturer has tripled its share of the offshore wind market over the past four years, and is pressing hard to consolidate its lead.
Late last year Nexans won the €100m ($82.5m) cabling contract at the €2.2bn London Array project being developed by E.ON, Dong and Masdar.
Nexans will deliver 85km of array cables for Lincs, which is expected to be operational by 2012 in the UK’s Greater Wash.
