France on Monday will start public consultations on a project to build a second offshore wind farm in the English Channel (in French ‘La Manche’) off the northern region of Normandy.
Prime Minister Jean Castex in August had announced plans to add another offshore wind project tendering opportunity next to the Barfleur project in the ‘Centre Manche’ zone already being auctioned off in the ongoing 1GW Normandy (‘Barfleur’) bottom-fixed round.
