The developer has submitted an application to the state’s appellate court for an expedited hearing and briefing schedule that would allow oral arguments in the case no later than 28 February next year.
Fishermen’s say it needs accelerated proceedings to successfully “prosecute” a future appeal prior to 30 June 2015, or risk losing “no less than $40m” in federal grant funds.
