Orsted has teamed up with POSCO, the world’s fourth-largest steel producer, to support the development of its 1.6GW offshore wind project off the coast of Incheon City, South Korea, and to conduct feasibility studies on collaboration on renewable hydrogen.
The Danish offshore wind champion late last year had announced plans for the massive offshore wind capacity build off the Southeast Asian nation’s third-largest city that are in line with the country’s ambitious target to install 12GW of offshore wind by 2030.
