It may not have much green food on its menu, but McDonald’s has cooked up two more helpings of green energy, buying 326MW of wind power from US developer Apex Clean Energy under two corporate power-purchase agreements (PPAs).

The fast-food giant will purchase 200MW from the 303MW Caddo wind farm in Oklahoma and 126MW from the 300MW Lincoln Land wind farm in Illinois — building on the 220MW it has already bought from the Apex-developed Aviator Wind West project in Texas.
