Renewable energy majors EDP, Iberdrola and RWE have reaffirmed their commitment to spend billions of pounds in the UK’s energy transition ahead of the COP26 global climate summit in Glasgow later this month and a ‘Global Investment Summit’ promoted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in London today.
Most of the massive amounts earmarked for the UK are for spending into offshore wind alone or with partner companies, but great part of that had already been announced previously.
