'Extra inspections': Vestas turbines at blade-fall wind farm return to service

Vestas V150 turbines are being returned to service at an Australian wind farm where a blade fell from one machine, with extra inspections to be carried out until a root cause investigation is completed, said the project’s developer.

A probe began last week when the blade fell from the newly-installed V150 4.2MW at Tilt Renewables’ almost-completed 336MW Dundonnell Wind Farm in the Australian state of Victoria.
