The head of Europe’s wind industry body has slammed comments by the boss of chemicals giant BASF over comments on the European turbine industry.
Giles Dickson, CEO of WindEurope, told Recharge he was “very surprised” by claims made by BASF CEO and chairman Martin Brudermüller, who told a German newspaper that Chinese turbines “are technically better than [Europe’s}, and they are also cheaper”.
