The list of 10 – which includes Russia, Ukraine, Morocco, Kenya and fast-growingrenewable powerhouse South Africa – will be installing 3.35GW annually between them by 2023,according to Navigant’s Emerging Wind Markets Assessment for 2013-23.
By that date the total capacity added by the 10 since 2013 willbe 27.1GW. South Africa will surpass Egypt as the wind leader on its continent,with Ukraine the number one in the former Soviet bloc, Navigant predicts.
