EU Supergrid plan moves ahead – but scale reflects 'different world'

Ambitious plans for a European “supergrid” spanning the North Sea and promising major benefits for offshore wind are set to advance following a meeting held in Brussels earlier this week – but at a smaller scale than the grand vision first unveiled in 2010.
