EU RE chief hopes for North Sea grid progress as ministers mull MoU

The European Commission's (EC) director for renewable energy has expressed “cautious optimism” that a political agreement allowing an integrated North Sea offshore grid to move ahead will be signed in early June at a European Energy Council meeting in Luxembourg.
