Enefit Green, the renewables unit of Estonian state-owned power company Eesti Energia, has completed the purchase of an up to 100MW wind farm development in Finland, its first expansion beyond the Baltic states or adjacent Poland.
An agreement between Enefit Green and Finnish state forest management company Metsähallitus over the acquisition of the Tolpanvaara wind project had already been entered in 2018, but was only completed now after certain precedent conditions were met.
