Equinor advanced plans for an up-to 800MW wind development in South Korea with deployment of lidar systems to measure resource for what it said could be Asia’s first floating project.
The Norwegian oil & gas group will over the next year use data from the twin RPS floating lidars 80km out into the East Sea off Ulsan to determine the potential of the project, called Firefly.
