Enlight Renewable Energy has secured finance to build the country’s largest wind farm, a 96MW project on the Golan Heights that will use GE turbines.

The Israeli developer said the Emek Habacha development will cost about 660m shekels ($181m) to build, with financing of 525m shekels in place following agreements with a consortium headed by Hapoalim bank.

Construction is set to take about two years, the developer said in a statement to the Tel Aviv stock exchange, with revenues from the project estimated at 100-110m annually.
