Energy trading company Danske Commodities has signed a 15-year power-purchase agreement to trade and balance 480MW of the output from the 3.6GW Dogger Bank offshore wind farm. It is the first such agreement at what will be the world's largest renewables project.

The Aarhus-based firm was acquired in 2018 by Norwegian energy giant Equinor, which owns 50% of Dogger Bank (in a 50-50 joint venture with SSE Renewables).
