“We have to recognise that we have not achieved our external target,” Kettwig said during a presentation at the Hanover industrial fair, referring to the company’s statement a year earlier that it will break through the 4GW installation mark for the first time in 2015.
“The lull is noticeable, but in the end not so dramatic on the balance sheet.”
Kettwig later told Recharge that stormy weather in November and December in Germany hit Enercon installations disproportionately hard as the company increasingly sells turbines for projects in wind locations that require higher towers which are more complicated to erect in bad weather conditions.
Last
