In the 4.2MW class the new E-141 EP4 is going to bring the world's largest onshore rotor blade (66.7 metres long) to the market, the company says.

The blade profile further optimises aerodynamic efficiency, higher resistance to dirt and low sound emission.

The blade will be divided into two parts for optimised production and logistics, like that of Enercon's E-115 model.

It was only in April that the leading German turbine maker officially launched its 4MW platform, initially presenting the E-126 EP4 model - which also has a 4.2MW
