Thomas Cobet has resigned as chief financial officer and member of the management team of embattled German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon.

Over the past months Cobet had monitored and supported the negotiations on the completion of a refinancing in the setting of the intended turnaround at the OEM.

Cobet in December 2019 had revealed to Recharge that the company faced a €500m ($597m) loss last year, which forced Enercon into restructuring talks.
