German utility EnBW and Aerodyn Engineering are testing a 1:10-scale prototype of a precast concrete floating wind platform carrying two wind turbines at the same time.
The 18-metre tall prototype called Nezzy² after currently being tested in a flooded gravel pit near Bremerhaven this summer is slated be tested in the Baltic Sea. If these trials go wall, the model is to be tested at full scale with another partner in China, EnBW said.
