Egyptian wind-energy ambitions zoom thanks to $430m loan

Egypt is on the cusp of securing a $430m loan from Japanese lenders to finance a 220-megawatt (MW) wind farm along its eastern Red Sea coast, adding further momentum to the burgeoning Egyptian wind sector.
