EGP will negotiate details of the contracts with Eskom. The projects are under the fourth phase of the government's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPP) tender.
EGP and its partners will invest about €500m ($529m) in the projects - Oyster Bay, 142MW; Karusa, 142MW and Nxuba, 141MW. Oyster Bay and Nxuba will enter commercial operation in 2017 and Karusa in 2018.
