The projects are 250MW Hidalgo in McCook, Texas, in extreme southern Texas, and 78MW Jericho Rise in Chateaugay in northern New York State. 

“The institutional partnership structure established enables an efficient utilization of the fiscal benefits generated by the project and improves the projects’ economics,” according to EDPR.

Both projects have long-term power off-take agreements..

Hidalgo is utilizing 125 Vestas V110 2MW turbines and will connect with the main Texas electric grid that Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) operates.
