EDPR aims to add a total of about 700MW annually between this year and 2020 under a strategy that puts "the US and onshore wind at the core" and also recognises PV as "an increasingly competitive technology".
About 65% of that annual capacity growth will come in North American onshore, and particularly the US, said EDP – Portugal's largest utility, which today revealed that EDPR will enjoy the majority of its growth investments to the end of the decade.
