EDPR enters 'key' UK onshore wind and solar market through major pipeline acquisition

Renewables major EDP Renewables (EDPR) is entering the market for wind and solar power on land in the UK through the acquisition of a major project pipeline from green energy companies Vento Ludens and Wind2.

The £71m ($96.77m) transaction adds a 544MW onshore wind and PV portfolio in the UK to the Madrid-based renewables unit of Portuguese energy giant EDP.
