EDF unit wins solar, wind capacity in Mexico's energy auction

Bluemex is located in Guaymas, Sonora, with interconnection already secured. It will use bifacial PV technology, which allows solar light to be captured by both sides of the module.

Gunaa Sicaru is located in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec region in Oaxaca. Gamesa will supply turbines for the project, which also has connection arrangements in place.
