The consortium is formed by three affiliates of the Desjardins Group, Manulife Financial Corp. and iA Financial Group.
Montreal-based Desjardins is the leading cooperative financial group in Canada. Manulife is a financial services group with headquarters in Toronto, while insurance giant iA Financial Group operates from Quebec City.
The subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles Group did not release terms of the transaction, except that DIM WIND members will provide long-term project debt financing.
