The Round 2 project has been downscaled to 230MW from its originally proposed footprint of 300MW, having faced resistance from the Ministry of Defence regarding radar concerns.

The £700m ($1.13bn) wind farm has been licensed for up to 77 turbines, suggesting the use of 3MW machines.
