Duke to buy Sumitomo half interest in Mesquite Creek

Duke Energy’s renewables unit expects to increase its wind generation portfolio to more than 1.7GW later this month by acquiring the 50% share in the 211MW Mesquite Creek wind farm in Texas held by partner Sumitomo Corp.
