Dong Energy has formally cut the ribbon on 582MW of offshore wind power at its Gode Wind 1&2 projects off the German coast.
The Gode Wind plants – operating in the North Sea since 2016 – were inaugurated today at the Danish embassy in Berlin in the presence of officials from both Germany and Denmark.
The twin projects combined amount to Germany's largest offshore wind farm to date and will provide green energy to about 600,000 German households.
