Developers confirm interest in New York offshore wind zone

EDF Renewable Energy, Deepwater Wind, Fishermen’s Energy, and Cape Wind developer Energy Management Inc. are among the companies that have expressed interest in leasing the rights to an offshore wind zone close to New York City that could hold more than 700MW.
