Deutsche Windtechnik has added onshore wind turbines from Japan’s Mitsubishi to its portfolio for the first time.

The German independent service provider has signed a long-term agreement to provide service for 564 Mitsubishi machines across five wind farms in the US that are operated by US power company Leeward Renewable Energy.

The contract encompasses almost half of the 1MW Mitsubishi 1000 and Mitsubishi 1000A models that are currently operating in the US.
