Denmark is on track to add another 560MW of plant to its offshore wind build-out, having rubber-stamped developer European Energy’s environmental impact assessments for the giant Omø South and Jammerland Bay projects in the Baltic Sea.
The two wind farms, which European Energy started developing in 2012 through the country’s so-called “open door” procedure, are now slated to enter operation in 2023.
