The Danish government floated the possibility of putting the near-shore tender on ice as one of a range of proposals to reduce expenditure when the Public Service Obligation (PSO) – the long-standing funding mechanism for the country's green transition – is axed.
If revoked the tender may be implemented "at a later time when the timing is more appropriate", it said.
