Belgian marine engineering firm DEME Offshore and local contractor Havfram have teamed up to jointly offer construction services to the emerging offshore wind sector in Norway – targeting first orders for the Sørlige Nordsjø II (Southern North Sea 2) zone that is slated to be auctioned off in coming months.

The two companies plan to play an important role by delivering transport and installation services for foundations, cables, wind turbines and substations, both for bottom-fixed and floating offshore wind farms.
