Deepwater gets mammal IHA permit

Deepwater Wind has received an “Incidental Harassment Authorization” (IHA) from the US government covering marine mammals that could be potentially affected by construction of its 30MW Block Island pilot wind farm off the Rhode Island coast.

Block Island will utilize the 6MW Haliade 150 turbine.
