Deepwater completes Block Island turbine installation

The nascent US offshore wind industry reached a milestone today when Fred Olsen Windcarrier’s Brave Tern jack-up vessel completed installation of the fifth of five 6MW turbines at the Block Island project site in state waters off Rhode Island.
