Balko, among the largest wind projects in Oklahoma, will employ 162 GE 1.85-87 turbines, and is due for completion this summer.
Minneapolis-based Mortenson Construction is acting as EPC contractor.
The wind farm has PPAs in place to sell 200MW of output to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma and 100MW to the Western Farmers Electric Cooperative.
Separately, Google confirmed that it contributed $76m in tax-equity for Balko – the second major renewables investment it has revealed in 2015, following the $80m investment in Scatec Solar's Red Hills solar project in Utah it announced last week.
